These terms govern the use of the Junta de Freguesia de Paul website. By browsing and using the services offered here, you accept the conditions set out on this page.

1. Identification

This website belongs to Junta de Freguesia de Paul, at Rua de Cima, n.º 17, 6215-380 Paul, reachable at geral@jf-paul.pt and +351 275 961 660.

2. Purpose

The website provides information about the parish, its services, heritage, events and documents, and allows you to report issues, subscribe to communications and rate the services provided.

3. Acceptable use

When using this website, you undertake to:

  • Provide truthful information, in particular when reporting issues.
  • Not submit unlawful, offensive, defamatory content or content infringing third-party rights.
  • Not submit other people’s personal data without their consent.
  • Not attempt to access restricted areas or compromise the security or availability of the service.
  • Not use automated means for bulk submissions.

4. Reported issues

Reports are for situations requiring the attention of the Junta de Freguesia. Submitting a report is not a guarantee of intervention and sets no binding deadline: each case is assessed on its severity, whether it falls within the Junta’s remit, and available resources.

Urgent situations, or any involving risk to people or property, must be reported immediately to the emergency services (112).

Manifestly false or abusive reports may be removed and, where applicable, referred to the authorities.

5. Satisfaction survey

Participation is voluntary and may be anonymous. Comments are used internally to improve services and are not published in a way that identifies their author.

We reserve the right to disregard manifestly abusive or automated responses.

6. Intellectual property

The content of this website — text, images, trade marks, logos and code — belongs to the Junta de Freguesia or to third parties who authorised its use, and is protected by law.

Public information may be reproduced for non-commercial purposes provided the source is credited. Any other use requires prior authorisation.

By submitting photographs with a report, you confirm you are the author or are authorised to use them, and grant the Junta the right to use them to handle that report.

7. Availability and content

We aim to keep information current and the service available, but we do not warrant freedom from interruptions, errors or inaccuracies. Legally binding information is that contained in the official published documents.

We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

8. External links

This website contains links to third-party sites for which we are not responsible. Access to those sites is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Junta de Freguesia is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website, save in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top.

Portuguese law applies. The courts of the Castelo Branco district have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
